Van Legends Week tot Monkey Island: Een enerverende september in 'Sea of Thieves'
September zat vol met actie in "Sea of Thieves". De maand begon met de terugkeer van de "Legends Week", die verbeterde beloningen en goodies bood om onze piratenlegendes te vieren. Zonder onderbreking volgde daarna het tweede evenement van de maand, de "Wish You Were Here"-week, die een reeks reisgerelateerde uitdagingen met zich meebracht en nog meer unieke items om te verdienen.
Aan het einde van de maand werd het derde en laatste deel van "Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island" uitgebracht. Dit deel genaamd "The Lair of LeChuck" sluit de trilogie af met een expeditie naar Monkey Island en een confrontatie met de geestpiratenkapitein zelf. Alle drie deze Tall Tales zijn nu speelbaar en zullen dat voorlopig ook blijven.
Community-weekend, Pirate Consultation Day and more: The highlights of September
As a conclusion to the month, the developers decided to celebrate the best weeks of the ninth season with another community-weekend. One highlight this time was the Pop-Up Plunder, where rare treasures in the game were unlocked for all crews on one server.
Before the community-weekend of the ninth season, the developers wanted to make sure that all their fearless players knew what to expect. In addition to the Pop-Up Plunder, there have been changes since the last community-weekend, including the switch of the main channel from Twitter to Twitch!
The Pirate Consultation Day also received its well-deserved attention with a special Pirate Emporium sale and limited-time Pretty Polly Sails.
The conclusion of the 'Legend of Monkey Island' trilogy and other news
In September, the video team appropriately celebrated the conclusion of the trilogy with the launch trailer for "The Lair of LeChuck" and showcased the final set of themed cosmetics. But that wasn't the only "Legend of Monkey Island" content served up for fans of Guybrush and his friends last month, as Part 2 and 3 of our Deep Dive video series also revealed a lot of background information and secrets.
The latest "Sea of Thieves" news video also spread its own exclusive information, as attention slowly shifted towards the future and the changes that the tenth season could bring.
Community and Creativity: The #SoTShot rounds in September
The two #SoTShot rounds in September were full of creative submissions: After enjoying pictures of perfect pets for the "Animal Appreciation" theme, we took a short swimming trip to explore an abundance of "Sunken Riches".
Someone made the mistake of leaving the team alone with 100 barrels - with predictable results - while others developed a rather peculiar fixation on color when looking at the tenth season.
